Frequently Asked Questions

Will I qualify for Private Health Insurance?+

You don't have to be an olympic athlete — if you're in relatively good health you should be a strong candidate. Individual considerations are made, but without major pre-existing conditions like cancer, heart attack, stroke, or diabetes, a private plan may be right for you.

Does it have to be "Open Enrollment" to sign up for Private Insurance?+

Open enrollment only applies to Marketplace/ACA/Obamacare plans and employer-sponsored plans. Private plans are available year-round with no limitations on when you can join or leave.

Isn't Private Health Insurance really expensive?+

It's much less expensive than you think. Since private healthcare rates are based on health, not income, you'll generally see lower prices AND better benefits if you qualify. Most clients save $1,200–$3,600 per year.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes — there are no contracts for any type of health insurance plan besides employer coverage. You can cancel at any time on both public and private plans.
