1. Introduction & Scope
MFE Health Solutions ("MFE", "we", "us", "our") operates the website mfehealthsolutions.com and provides health and life insurance guidance, quoting tools, and appointment scheduling through a team of independently licensed insurance agents. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our site, submit a quote request or contact form, book an appointment, or communicate with us by phone, email, or SMS.
2. Information We Collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone number, ZIP code or state, date of birth or age band, household size, tobacco use, coverage preferences, appointment time, and any free-text message you submit.
- Consent records: the date, time, IP address, page URL, and exact wording of the disclosure you agreed to when you opted in to SMS, email, or phone contact.
- Device & log data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, UTM/campaign parameters, timestamps, and pages viewed.
- Cookies & pixels: first-party cookies for basic site functionality, plus the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising. See Section 7 for details.
3. How We Use Information
- To generate quotes and connect you with a licensed MFE agent.
- To send transactional messages — appointment confirmations, reminders, reschedules, and follow-ups about your inquiry.
- To send marketing SMS or email about health and life insurance products, enrollment periods, and promotions — only where you have provided express written consent.
- To measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising campaigns.
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
4. SMS Data & Carrier Disclosure
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in records collected through our forms are used solely to deliver the SMS program you consented to and are never sold, rented, or transferred to outside parties for their own marketing. Full details are in our Messaging Policy.
5. Email Data
- We send email only to recipients who have explicitly opted in through a form on this site, or who have an existing business relationship with MFE.
- Transactional and marketing email are clearly distinguished. Marketing email always includes a one-click unsubscribe.
- We maintain a permanent suppression list of unsubscribed and bounced addresses.
- We do not use purchased, rented, scraped, or appended email lists.
6. How We Share Information
We share personal information only:
- With the licensed MFE agent handling your quote or appointment, and, where applicable, with the insurance carrier you elect to apply with.
- With service providers (hosting, database, email delivery, SMS delivery, CRM, calendar, and analytics) who are bound by contract to use the data only on our behalf.
- When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
7. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Pixels
We use first-party cookies for basic site functionality and to measure site usage in aggregate. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure the performance of ads we run on Meta platforms, including events such as page views, quote submissions, and appointment bookings. Identifiers we send server-side (such as email and phone) are hashed with SHA-256 before transmission.
You can control advertising cookies through your browser settings and manage Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
8. Data Security
All form submissions and account traffic are transmitted over TLS (HTTPS). Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and contracted service providers. Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
9. Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to opt out of certain processing; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, email info@mfehealthsolutions.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. HIPAA Notice
MFE Health Solutions is an independent insurance advisory and is generally not a HIPAA-covered entity. Health-related information you provide to obtain a quote or coverage (such as tobacco use or basic health questions) is treated as confidential and used only to help you evaluate and enroll in coverage. Once you apply with an insurance carrier, the carrier's own privacy notice and, where applicable, HIPAA requirements govern that data.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International Users
MFE Health Solutions is a United States–based service intended for U.S. residents. By using the site, you consent to the processing of your information in the United States.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the site or via email where appropriate.
